Seems like all the concerts are coming the same time. On Wednesday went to see Swallow the Sun. First there was acoustic gig in a record shop and after that regular show at Klubi. Haven't seen them awhile but they were great. And I finally heard the new album yesterday.
Yesterday was Kotiteollisuus. It was fun and I think they had best setlist in long time.

Next Thursday is Amorphis, Eternal Tears of Sorrow next month and Apocalyptica on March.

I went shopping today. I was supposed to buy new Dark Tranquillity dvd for my friend's bithday (which was on Monday) but appearantly it comes tomorrow to stores. Dammit! But I found Eternal Tears of Sorrow new album for her. I bough 4 books and 4 dvd :) Books: The King's Pleasure by Norah Lofts, Skin Trade by Laurell K. Hamilton, In Ashes Lie and Midnight Never Come by Marie Brennan. Dvd: King Arthur (theater version), The Lion In Winter, The Private Life of Henry VIII and Mad Love (Juana La Loca).



I'm reading The Seventh Son by Reay Tannahill at the moment. It's about King Rickhard III and I'm really liked it so far.

I’ve been starting to seriously think about going back to school. I’ve been talked long time that I’d like to read history but never got around to do it. My friend has said many times I should try but I've always said that because I didn't even go to high school, there's no poin in it but now I've started to re-think... And I'm kinda sick of working in kitchens...
I told my mom today and she was little suprised but didn't ask too much. I was expecting lot more of questions... 

I've nearly finished with The Thistle and the Rose by Jean Plaidy. It's about Margaret Tudor, Henry VIII's sister. I've liked it so far.

 Went to Maj Karma concert yesterday with Crista and Suska. Firt time I was the driver because Suska came straight from work and I picked up Crista from her work. I haven’t drove in the centre since I got my licence. Parking isn’t my best but I found easy place park xD  

But the band was good. I don’t listen them that much except in festivals and such. The only songs I recognised were Sodankylä, Ukkonen, Salama and Attentaatti. The singer, Herra Ylppö, came to the audience twice and to the table in front of us once and sat in front me.


I finished reading Vengeance In Death by J.D. Robb I'm reading Murder Most Royal by Jean Plaidy. It's about Anne Boleyn and Katherine Howard and I'm really liked it and how she's portrayed them. 
 

I saw my sister today and she told that she's pregnant. I'll be an aunt :) I was actually kinda surprised. Taru (my sister) didn't look too happy when my dad said that it was about time and that there wouldn't be much time anyway, lol :) She's 34. My oldest sister Tuire is 46 so I'm pretty sure she won't get children anymore. 
Funny that it's should be born February 9 and Taru's birthday and my name day is on February 10 and Tuire's birthday is Fenruary 3.
I hope they'll get married too because I've never been on wedding xD

I started reading Castile For Isabella by Jean Plaidy yesterday.



I almost forget yesterday that Sarah Connor Chronicles season 2 started. I'm really curious about Shirley Manson. But why John had to cut his hair?? He was so much cuter before!
Yesterday was also Robin Hood season 2 finale. I knew that Marian is gonna die but it was still sad... 24 season 7 started last week and today Desperate Housewives season 5.  Fist there doesn't come anything from tv and then all starts the same time... 

I went shopping to Helsinki today. I found earrings, 2 cd's (Damage Done by Dark Tranquillity andElizabeth the Golden Age OST) and 8 historical books. 



The Queen's Sorrow by Suzannah Dunn, Nefertiti by Michelle Moran, Mary Tudor (non-fiction) by Linda Porter, The Shadow of the Pomegranate and The Thistle and the Rose  by Jean Plaidy, Lancaster and York (non-fiction) by Alison Weir, Catherine Parr: Henry VIII's Last Love (non-fiction) by Susan James and Jane Boleyn (non-fiction) by Julia Fox. I so don't have time to read all the books I have!


I'm now reading Memoirs of Catherine the Greatin finnish. It's good so far but a book really don't need 100 pages of prologue!!

Went to Pellavarock on Saturday, which was the last festival on this summer. Even Jenni came with us… We were supposed to stay at Suska’s summer cottage the night but her parents didn’t let us. We’ve been there like past 3 years and syddenly they won’t let us. Just great. Still don’t knmow what they’re problem was…

Saw Amorphis, Before the Dawn and Profein Omen. This was 4th time this summer that I saw Amorphis and second that I saw Profein Omen but both were good. Haven’t seen Before the Dawn awhile. Sadly we were so far that I didn’t get any pictures (of guitarist Juho Räihä, krohm…)).

And I manadeg to burn myself, yet again! And this time I even had sunscreen.

I also finishd Madame de Maintenon from Veronica Buckley today. It was good but I was little confused because I’m not really familiar with history of France. And I mix all the Louises xD I’m starting Vision in White either today or tomorrow.


Now I'm off to watch LotR: Two Towers :)

Went to shopping today because I noticed that I really need new shoes. I saw yet another spot where my old ones are broke. Dammit! They're really comfortable on feet... Heh, my friend just texted that if I could send her pics from Tuska. Sure, but my camera was still stolen there. She had no memory of it and I rammed through her bag at the buss station to look if it ended up there somehow. Well, she was "quit" drunk...

This is so not my day! At morning at work  I drop and broke  about 10 new plates. There came huge crash and everybody came looking what happened. Later I dop one plate when I took bigger pile behind it but atleast this didn't went broke. Everyone was looking at me not so friendly... Pretty much at this point I felt like going home... And I tried also broke one glass but didn't manage it. But Rea broke a glass to the thing where's knives and forks. 


I finally finished The Witching Hour by Anne Rice yesterday. Took me 2 friggin weeks! And now I'm behing my schedule. I wasw trying to read atleast 1 book per week. Started Lasher today.

I was at Ruisrock festival on weekend. I went with Suska on friday and saturday and Crista came along on sunday. And of course the whole week was really (too) hot and on weekend it was grey and it rained a bit on saturday and sunday.
On friday I watched Children of Bodom, Stone and Maj Karma . Saturday: Maija Vilkkumaa, Eppu Normaali, Egotrippi, Tehosekoitin, Kotiteollisuus and half of In Flames. Sunday: Stratovarius, Amorphis, Volbeat and half of Faith No More.
Egotrippi was horrible, it felt like it was 5 hours...
I don't know who's genius idea was to go to stables before we go to Ruisrock... I'm so not morning person!


I bought Bodom t-shirt and Nightmare Before Christmas bag. I'm too lazy to take picture but the bag is adorable xD


Meh, didn't have any time to read at all on weekend. I'm so behind with reading. I'm stil reading The Witching Hour.

I've been so tired the whole day.  We came with buss from Tuska and it was freezing cold so couldn't really sleep and we were in Turku at 6 in the morning.

Watched Amorphis, Deathchain and Profen Omen. Amorphis was good as always. Deathchain and Profen Omen was good too but Ihaven't listened those that much.

It went suprisingly well with Enni, she wasn't even that drunk. After Tuska we went to some bars and that's enought for some time...

And when we waited the buss I noticed that I had lost (read: someone stole) my fucking camera! ANd it was kinda new. Fuck!

Had riding lesson today and I really feel I need a new hobby...
I went with Tobias again and he was even more lazy than usually. About in half way he dropped to knees and, of course, in front of the teacher. I thought that if he falls to the side I'm gonna end up under him. I mean it was nothing that serious it just took some time until he got his leg in control *eyeroll* All in all it stumbled like 5 times in one hour. Not that bad but still. If you can't control your legs then you don't have to scared about every small noise that nobody else hears *mutters*

I watched Legend of the Seeker pilot and it looked good. Haven't read the books but hopefully some day...
I'm reading Mistral's Kiss by Laurell K. Hamilton at the moment. I'm hooked! Can't decide if I like Anita Blake serie or Merry Gentry serie more. Have to get Swallowing Darkness some day too.  

My riding lesson today went better than in ages but damn I'm not pony rider anymore! Last week I went with about 175cm horse and today with about 135cm pony. Felt strange...

I bought yesterday 3 books: Madame De Maintenon: The Secret Wife of Louis XIV, Henry by David Starkey and Vision White by Nora Roberts. I also bought Stamina: K13V dvd.

I also have new laptop! Or rather now I have laptop because I've never had one before. Haven't figured out yet how I get the internet connection on bot my laptop and my table computer to function but we'll see...

I'm officially started summer now that the first festival is over. Went to Sauna on friday with Crista and Suska. We went with my car but luckily I didn't have to drive because Suska volunteered :)
Of course we were behind our schedule and we make it there just before Amorphis started.  It would have been more fun if I had heard the new album but it was good anyway.
Soilwork was great as always. They play only 2 festival this summer, Sauna and Sweden Rock. The first songsI didn't know that well but the set list was still good.
I was really looking forward to Apocalyptica and it didn't disappointed me. I've seen them once before in a club gig few years ago so it was nice to seem them again. Tony Kakko from Sonata Arctica played with them I Don' Care, I'm Not Jesus and Life Burns. Life Burns sounded much better with Tony that with Lauri Ylönen xD

I also bought Poisonblack t-shirt. I'd love to see Poisonblack but there wasn't anything else in Sarurday. I didn't took any photos because it rained the whole day.

I had no work today so I went shopping. I found black  trousers, new Eternal Tears of Sorrow album Children of the Dark Waters and 4 books: The Lady Elizabeth by Alison Weir, Blood Noir by Laurell K. Hamilton, The Way of Fire by Christian Jacq and Kuningatar Kristiina (Queen Christine) by Peter Englund. Not bad I say :)
I've been listening EToS whole day and I really like the album. I hope there's gonna be concerts later now that they found new guitarist. *fingers crossed*

Meh, I was supposed to have tomorrow off of work too but of course I got call to come to work. Typical...

This day has been really too hot for me. I want winter back!

I think I'm really getting sick. I can't hear with my other ear and I think I have inflammation of the ear. Ad of course it was such a good idea to go to riding lesson. After about 5 minutes I felt like I couldn't breathe.  And Tobias was lazy like usually so the lesson really didn't went good.
At least I don't go to work tomorrow and I'm just at home so maybe I'll get little better.

And I'm going to Tuska on saturday after all. I promised to Enni I'll go with her, don't know how smart that is but anyway...
